Sinner Retains Wimbledon Crown with Five-Set Epic Over Zverev

Jannik Sinner successfully defended his Wimbledon title Sunday, defeating Alexander Zverev 6-7(7), 7-6(2), 6-3, 6-4 in a three-hour, 46-minute thriller on Centre Court. Meanwhile, Carlos Alcaraz's prolonged absence continues to cast a shadow—the Spaniard has officially pulled out of Montreal and remains sidelined with his wrist injury, fueling mounting speculation about whether he'll be ready for the US Open. As Sinner collects silverware and cements his legacy, Alcaraz's uncertain timeline leaves one of tennis's most compelling rivalries on hold.
